STEVE HART CATCHES UP WITH 2GB’S MARK LEVY

Steve talks to a young man who has had a rapid rise in the tough Sydney radio market.

As a teenager Mark was a race day assistant to the TAB’S on course operations manager. One of his jobs was to deliver cash reserves to the tote operators who suddenly found themselves with large payouts.

His attraction to racing later led him to a job at Sky Racing where he was part of the big production team. He worked on live racing content and magazine programmes.

Mark is now the host of a new sports programme “Wide World Of Sports Radio Show” airing four nights a week on 2GB/4BC. He anchors the popular Continuous Call Team during the NRL season, and fills in when required, for top rating morning host Ray Hadley.

Steve reviews the short but spectacular career of Mark Levy.
